Restore This House

Sunday of Generosity is a 15-week faith journey, inclusive of a 15-week financial fast, designed to deepen our relationship with Christ by abstaining from unnecessary spending and redirecting those resources towards a noble cause.

This spiritually led 15-week faith journey was created with the sole purpose of honoring God with our saved finances. As we collectively engage in this fast, we are believing God to completely meet and exceed our goal of raising $1 million.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Nashville embraces the practice of tithing as a means of expressing faith, strengthening the community, fulfilling its mission of love and service, and fostering spiritual growth and transformation according to Malachi 3:10, Deuteronomy 14:22-23, Luke 6:38, and Acts 20:35. By giving generously, the church not only meets its financial needs but also contributes to building a stronger, more vibrant community grounded in faith, love, and compassion. Financial contributions enable the church to support various outreach programs, community initiatives, college students, HBCUs, and social services that uplift and empower individuals in need. These efforts contribute to building a stronger, more resilient community.
