Pastor John F. Ramsey, Sr. is the gifted and anointed Senior Pastor of New Life Worship Center, an exciting and rapidly growing church located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Ramsey attended Fort Wayne public schools and graduated from Snyder High School. Following graduation, inspired by his love of athletics, he accepted a football scholarship at Miami University of Ohio and began pursuing a major in Education. During his junior year at the age of 21, while experiencing the overwhelming power and love of God, he accepted God’s Call to the Ministry. It was during these college years that he began readying himself to do the Will of God on a full-time basis. A dynamic preacher, prolific bible scholar and teacher, and a visionary leader, Pastor Ramsey boldly and unashamedly proclaims Gospel messages to encourage and empower God’s people. He ministers with power and prophetic anointing while using humor to make often complex biblical concepts enjoyable, simple, relevant, “down-to-earth,” and practical. Prior to serving as Pastor of New Life Worship Center, Pastor Ramsey founded and began pastoring the Victory Christian Center, a small storefront church located in the inner-city of Indianapolis. Starting with just one member, Victory Christian Center grew into a strong congregation within seven years. Under Pastor Ramsey's leadership, the congregation purchased a church site and paid off the mortgage within a three-month period. Pastor Ramsey’s dedication, commitment, and love of Victory Christian Center moved God’s Heart to provide for Pastor Ramsey to open the doors of New Life Worship Center on August 5, 2001. Under his dynamic and visionary leadership and to accommodate its magnificent growth of New Life Worship Center. Pastor Ramsey is the General Overseer in the office of Singles, for The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. Ramsey is a much sought-after preacher and a featured national keynote speaker for various leadership and development programs. God’s anointing has enabled Pastor Ramsey to bring some of the nation’s leading pastors, teachers, and recording artists to New Life Worship Center to bless the congregation and the Indianapolis community each year. Pastor Ramsey serves on the Advisory Board for Marian University and Taylor University. Pastor Ramsey is married to his lovely wife, Dr. Alicia for twenty-four years and they are the proud parents of three wonderful children-a daughter, Judah Maree, and sons Jeremiah David and John Jr.
